The Mahina Surf — also known as “moon” surf was built in 1969 as a condominium complex featuring independently owned vacation rental units. Some of their units have owners of more than 2 decades of ownership and most were handed down from relatives. We are committed to creating a lovely, healthy and enjoyable environment for our visitors and showcasing all non-smoking rentals units and property.
The people at the Mahina Surf are mindful of their electricity use and are now heating their lovely freshwater pool with renewable power from solar panels and supplying support with photovoltaic panels for their common area lighting. The Mahina Surf property is a low-rise complex constructed on the ground floor as a 2-story layout with one tower, and the other above. The units on the ground are one bedroom while the units upstairs are two bedrooms. The complex of fifty-six ocean-view units is situated on two acres of oceanfront land. The property is located on the leeward western coast of Maui, with views of the Lanai and Molokai surrounding islands. Maui’s leeward shoreline is known for its sunlight, calm trade winds and sandy beaches during the year.
